Hydro-Air Radar Flow Meter RDFM432 is used for monitoring water level and flow rate with microwave technology. The device combines mature measuring technologies used on both radar water level meter and radar flowrate meter.
The device is mainly used for measuring water level and flow rate of open channels, such as rivers, gate of reservoirs, pipe network of underground water and irrigation channels. It can monitor the changes to water level and flow and flow rate, providing accurate flow information for monitoring.
In radar level measurement, microwaves are transmitted by the antenna system of the radar sensor to the measured medium, reflected by the medium surface, and received back by the antenna system. The time from emission to reception of the signals is proportional to the level in the vessel.
