Femforward 2025: Tanrirharifah /Zarah /Syed /Ahmad received the Special Lifetime Excellence Award

Femforward 2025: Tan Sri Dr Sharifah /Zarah /Syed /Ahmad received the Special Lifetime Excellence Award at the Femforward 2025 Awards ceremony, held here on Wednesday night. The award recognized her exceptional contributions to women’s leadership and development in Malaysia.

According to Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT), the Femforward 2025 awards were presented to women from various fields, symbolizing appreciation for their leadership, dedication and achievements in key national sectors.

WiLAT stated that Femforward 2025 is an inclusive platform that will become an annual event, bringing together women leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and community activists. Its goal is to strengthen collaboration networks, drive collective action, and advance women's aspirations toward a more progressive and prosperous society.

The event was graced by the presence of HAWA Malaysia’s Chairperson and Chair of the Women in Export and Industry Consultative Committee (WITI), Tan Sri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil. In her speech, Shahrizat emphasized that it is the dedication and spirit of women that brings everyone together today to honour their invaluable contributions across all aspects of life.

As part of the program, a special forum titled “Driving ESG Excellence” was held, featuring industry leaders, corporate executives and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) experts. They discussed the role of women in empowering ESG agendas and strengthening organizational competitiveness through sustainable practices.

During the session, the President of CILT Malaysia, Prof Muhammad Zaly Shah, announced that Saito University College will offer special scholarships in logistics to female WiLAT Malaysia members, marking an important initiative to nurture women’s talent and leadership in the sector.
