This week, our students are sitting for their 2025 Mid-Term Test, a significant checkpoint in their academic journey. Each student is assessed across core subjects — including Mathematics, English, Science, and Mandarin — through a combination of written papers, comprehension tasks, and structured problem-solving questions.
The atmosphere in class has been calm and focused. Students are putting their best foot forward, applying the knowledge and skills they’ve built since the beginning of the year. Teachers have observed how students manage their time, read carefully, and approach each question with critical thinking — all of which are important exam strategies that they’ve been practicing.
But this mid-term isn’t just about marks or rankings. It’s a valuable opportunity for students to:
Reflect on their own learning progress
Identify which areas they’ve mastered and which need more work
Gain confidence from applying what they’ve learned in a test setting
Receive feedback from teachers to help guide their study focus for the rest of the year
In the weeks following the test, our teachers will carefully go through each paper, offer constructive feedback, and hold review sessions so that students can truly understand not just what they got wrong, but why. It’s part of our approach to meaningful learning — where every assessment is a learning moment.
To all our students: you’ve done your best, and that’s what matters most. Keep striving, keep learning — the journey continues!
