We were engaged to design and manage the Ester Plant in Texas, USA, covering an extensive 180,000 sqft facility. The plant consists of a process building, utility building, unloading shed, tank farm, and pipe gantry, all engineered for optimal functionality and efficiency.
A key highlight of this project was the modular plant design, allowing the process building to be fabricated in Malaysia and shipped to the US for streamlined installation. This approach significantly reduced on-site construction time and enhanced cost efficiency.
Our scope of work covered detailed engineering design and project management, ensuring compliance with international standards:
- Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
- Plant Engineering Design
- Structural Design (ASCE standards) – Including unloading shed, boiler house, pipe gantry, and process skid
- Mechanical & Piping Design (ASME & API standards) – Covering storage tanks, vessels, and piping systems
Beyond design, we were also responsible for managing the fabrication of piping, vessels, and process skids in Malaysia before shipping them to the US for installation.
Our expertise in process plant engineering, combined with a strategic approach to modular construction, allowed us to execute this project efficiently. By leveraging offshore fabrication, we ensured high precision, quality control, and cost savings for our client.
