Push back racking is a type of dynamic pallet racking system designed to maximize storage density while maintaining selectivity. It allows for the storage of multiple pallets in a single lane, with pallets pushed back as new ones are loaded. This creates a "last in, first out" (LIFO) storage configuration. The system typically consists of inclined rails and nested carts that facilitate the movement of pallets. When a pallet is loaded onto the system, it pushes back the pallets already in place, creating space for the new pallet. As pallets are unloaded, the remaining pallets move forward automatically. Push back racking is suitable for warehouses with limited space seeking to optimize storage capacity and accessibility.

Push Back Racking System main components include:
- Upright Frames: Bearing for the whole system.
- Braces: Dispersing force between the upright frames.
- Beams: Connecting between 2 upright frames and is the place to put pallets.
- Pallet Stop: Preventing the pallets from sliding off the racking.
- Baseplate: Connecting the upright frames to the floor and keeping the system steady.
- Column Guard : Protecting the upright frames from the collisions.
- First Cart: The cart at the bottom helps the pallets drive forward when they are placed onto.
- Second Cart: The cart above the first cart helps the pallet drive forward when the others are placed onto the first cart.
