BISON LIK-2 2PCS Lock Installation Kit

- Kit includes cup type hole saw with a mandrel bit for larger lock hole and a wood auger bit for latch hole.

- Precise boring for door is assured with four edged hole saw with an auger bit for pilot hole. Besides, this kit you need an electric drill, screw driver, chisel and hammer for the job

- Item included : 7/8'' (22MM) Auger bit for lockset hole, 2-1/8'' (54MM) Hole saw for large lockset hole, Allen key

 

1. Use the template and your lock kit to mark knob center and center of door edge. If no template is provided, mark centers using dimensions shown in look fixing manuals 

2. For large lockset hole, use hole saw and drill halfway through the door using pilot drill in the center. Then finish drilling through from the other side of the door using pilot hole as a guide. 

3. Drill latch hole 7/8'' (22MM) past lockset hole using the wood auger bit,

4. Mark around edge by inserting latch and chisel out marked area so latch plate can be flush with door's edge. Attach the latch. Insert outside knob with rosetteplate, putting the spindle through the latch or engaging lock tomngue in the latch grooves. Insert the inside knob with rosette plate. Align to outside knob and attach.

5. Set strike plate in place.
