In the bronze medal match, they triumphed over the Danish duo, successfully defending their bronze title and securing Malaysia's first medal of the Games.
Undoubtedly, it was a spectacular match. Chia and Soh initially lost a set and found themselves in a tough battle. In the second set, their opponents even reached match point at 16-20. However, with tenacious determination, Chia and Soh saved four match points and won six consecutive points to take the set 22-20. In the third set, they gained momentum and ultimately secured a 21-19 victory, meeting the high expectations of Malaysians.
