The Bermaz Auto facelifted Mazda CX-5 will go on sale in January 2024 at a premium price, according to MIDF Research (as reported by The Edge). A five-variant lineup and some of the model's modifications appear to have been confirmed by leaked information that we obtained earlier this month. The upgraded SUV was already spotted in Malaysia in November of this year.

The research firm added that the CX-60, which debuted globally in March of last year and is already available for purchase in a number of ASEAN regions, including Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines, is another model in development.





The CX-3 facelift was also mentioned; however, this might be a reference to the small styling changes made to the compact SUV, which were unveiled in September in Japan. However, this should be taken with a grain of salt. The kit list for the three different varieties of the CX-3, which was imported from Thailand, was already updated earlier this month.

According to the source, the fourth-generation Kia Sportage, which is under Dinamikjaya Motors' control, would eventually make its debut in Malaysia in 2024. Accompanying the Carens, a three-row SUV that made its debut in India and is already available in Indonesia, the SUV will be offered as a locally-assembled (CKD) variant.




As distributorship has been taken over by Stellantis (formerly handled by Bermaz Auto Alliance), there is no mention of Peugeot models in the report, which makes sense. In a statement released in November, Stellantis stated that Bermaz "will in the meantime continue to work with it for vehicle sales through its own network."

It was mentioned in a previous article that the e-2008 and 408 will be introduced here in 2024. The Landtrek will join the CKD versions, according to Daniel Gonzalez, Chief Operating Officer (ASEAN and General Distributors) at Stellantis. The pick-up vehicle is currently sold as a CBU.
