You have around one month to purchase that specific BMW or MINI car if you've had your eye on it before the price goes up. The reason for this is that, beginning of January 1, 2024, BMW Group Malaysia has declared that it would be changing the prices in each of its portfolios.
The company announced earlier today that, "an average price update of approximately 2.3% (inclusive of BSRI) and 0.3% (inclusive of MSRI) will come into effect for a range of BMW and MINI models in Malaysia, respectively, from January 1, 2024," due to rising manufacturing costs and global inflation rates.

As part of the overall general price rise, the business announced that the BMW and MINI Service and Repair Inclusive (BSRI/MSRI) package pricing will increase on the specified date in order to maintain its best-in-segment warranty and maintenance programs.
It further stated that in the absence of BSRI in Malaysia, consumers should anticipate a 1% to 2% increase in pricing across the whole BMW line. Final pricing has not yet been disclosed, but as soon as the revised BMW costs are ready, we will publish them. The 2024 update indicates a back-to-back price hike because, in January of this year, the corporation also revealed a revised price list for 2023, which saw some models see price increases.

Regarding the MINI portfolio, there will be no price updates for the present lineup of vehicles in Malaysia. However, all MINI models will be subject to the 2024 MSRI rate hike, which is anticipated to result in an increase of between 0.3 and 0.5%.
By the way, the company used to refer to the scope of its service and repair program coverage (oil change, filter change, brake pad replacement, etc.) as "Service and Repair Inclusive." Officially referred to as the BMW warranty and service package, it offers a five-year warranty with unlimited mileage and an additional five-year/100,000 km servicing.
