After updating the Mazda 3 in April of this year, Mazda has now upgraded the Mazda CX-30. The Mazda CX-30, like the Mazda 3, keeps its overall appearance while receiving improvements in comfort and safety.

The following is a complete list of the modifications, or "partial improvements," as Mazda likes to term them, for the CX-30 are

• New “Retro Sports Edition” (together with Mazda 3 and CX-5) ,

• New Wireless Apple Carplay Connectivity

• New pedestrian detection
• New driver attention warning function

The Mazda CX-30's exterior has seen almost little alteration, with the exception of two new body colors: "Ceramic Metallic" and "Zircon Sand Metallic." The Mazda CX-30 now features a new "Retro Sports Edition" trim, similar to the ones that the Mazda CX-5 and Mazda 3 have.




With black wheels, black side mirrors, and an exterior color of Zircon Sand Metallic, the "Retro Sports Edition"'s additional features provide the 3, CX-30, and CX-5 slightly different looks. The "Retro Sports Edition" trim is available on the 20S 2WD, 20S 4WD, XD 2WD, and XD 4WD versions of the Mazda CX-30 that are built to Japanese specifications. Terracotta leather with black accents and a 12-speaker Bose sound system are features of the "Retro Sport Edition" trim.


Returning to the revised Mazda CX-30, it now has a 10.25-inch floating head unit, which is larger than the previous model's 8.8-inch screen. Additionally, it now has wireless Apple CarPlay connection.




The new QI wireless charging pad and new USB-C ports are additional inside upgrades. The Mazda CX-30 has been modified to include a remote engine start feature for convenience's sake.


The upgraded Mazda CX-30's safety features are identical to those added to the Mazda 3 in April. The safety system of the Mazda CX-30 can now identify pedestrians in addition to barriers like cars and walls. Additionally, a brand-new "Inattentive warning function" has been introduced to the driver monitoring function. The device can detect driver distraction and can alert the driver if necessary with a screen display and an auditory alarm.





The Mazda CX-30 now has the same features as the Mazda CX-60 in areas where Mazda's full connection is offered. The "Driver Care" and "Mazda My Car Care" extra plans are included.

The Mazda CX-30 is now available in Malaysia in its outgoing model, which has an 8.8-inch head unit. Prices for its 4 variants, which are currently available, start at RM131,409 (OTR without insurance).
