The price of the 2023 Subaru Forester facelift has been updated by Motor Image Malaysia, Subaru's official distributor in Malaysia, with a RM10,000 price reduction throughout the entire range. Since August 16, 2023, there has been a price drop.


The 2023 Subaru Forester 2.0i-L EyeSight is now priced at RM164,288. The 2023 Subaru Forester GT Lite Edition EyeSight will now cost RM170,288. The GT Edition EyeSight is the most expensive model in the series, with an MSRP of RM186,288. The 2.0i-S EyeSight variation is now available for RM174,288. All of these costs are on-the-road and without insurance for Peninsular Malaysia. A manufacturer's guarantee of five years or 100,000 miles is also included in the price tags.





At the same price of RM1,900 and with a year of connectivity, the optional Subaru Connex telematics system is still offered. After the first year, an RM360/year subscription will be needed for the cellular data for the telemetry system.

The kits that come with the 2023 Subaru Forester are still available at the same price. The facelifted SUV has new front fascia with Levorg-inspired headlights, as well as front and rear bumpers.





While the higher-end S and GT Edition variants come with 18-inch alloy wheels, the L and GT Line variants come with 17-inch wheels. The interior of the 2023 Subaru Forester facelift is substantially the same as it was before, with the exception of new quilted black leather upholstery on the S and GT Edition models.

A 2.0-liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder Boxer engine with 156 horsepower and 196 Nm of torque powers the whole 2023 Subaru Forester facelift lineup. Power is distributed to all four wheels via a symmetrical all-wheel drive system paired with the manufacturer's Lineartronic CVT; both the S and GT Edition models also come with Subaru's Dual X-mode.






The 2023 Subaru Forester lineup includes Subaru's EyeSight 4.0 ADAS suite as standard equipment, which supports Level 2 autonomous driving, as suggested by their variant titles. For example, lane departure prevention (LDP), lane centering control with preceding car adaptive steering control, pre-collision throttle management, and lead vehicle start alert are safety features that fall under this category. Additionally, the S and GT Edition models come with automated emergency steering.
