More than 100 Tesla Model 3 vehicles make up the first consignment that has arrived from China. About twenty clients picked up their cars during this morning's handover ceremony from Tesla Malaysia's headquarters in Cyberjaya, which is now the only place in the nation where customer deliveries are made.

The first Tesla service center opened its doors and is situated directly behind the company's headquarters. This is the nation's sole authorized Tesla service facility. Tesla Malaysia does not recognize any other media outlets that make claims to be on behalf of Tesla.




The service center's layout, which consists of just 7 repair bays—including one for tire alignment—reflects Tesla's architecture, which has few mechanical components.

In response to a question about whether the service center would accept requests from owners of Teslas that have been parallel imported, a Tesla Malaysia representative stated that since the warranty of a vehicle is based on the nation in which it was originally registered, Tesla Malaysia is unable to assist owners of parallel imported vehicles. Whether it's an internal combustion engine vehicle or an electric vehicle, almost all automakers follow the same procedure, as the Tesla Malaysia representative underlined.




On the other hand, the service center will not do diagnostics or repairs on automobiles that are parallel-imported, but it might take on small jobs, such tire-related maintenance, for a fees.In Sungai Besi, a body-and-paint center for post-accident repairs is set to open soon.





Another new offering is Premium Connectivity, an in-car Internet service that enables users to access all of the functions of the car, including web surfing, music and media streaming, and navigation with real-time traffic updates, for RM 35.99 per month.
