Just one month after making its concept premiere at the Japan Mobility Show 2023, the fourth-generation Suzuki Swift has now gone worldwide. Apart from a few tweaks to the front and back bumpers, the inclusion of a rear fog lamp, and the absence of the aggressive-looking body modifications that were seen on the concept model, not much has changed here. Instead, the idea might have served as a preview for the next Swift Sport.
The fourth-generation Suzuki Swift has a clamshell-like bonnet and a slightly rounder front grille, giving it a more mature appearance than before. The headlights on its front fascia are now positioned lower than before, and integrated therein are L-shaped daytime running lights (DRL).

Additionally, the Suzuki emblem is now located at the top of the bonnet instead of the front grille. The fourth-generation Swift comes in eight single-tone and four dual-tone color variations. Two new colors for the Japanese hatchback are Frontier Blue Pearl Metallic and Cool Yellow Metallic, which are making their debuts.
The new, exciting hatchback has "smoked" rear lights on the back, which give it a more aggressive appearance. Its shape has become more angular, but overall it is still identifiable as a Swift, just like the front.

The 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine and CVT gearbox power the 12V Mild hybrid system, which Suzuki claims offers "improvements all around, combining enhanced fuel economy and reduced emissions."
Suzuki is also providing the AllGrip Auto AWD system for the Swift as an option if you live in a snow-filled nation. When driving on slick surfaces, such as snow-covered roads, this can help by adding more traction.

Inside, the fourth-generation Suzuki Swift has undergone a considerable redesign. It now has a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment display that is floating and compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A more contemporary digital air conditioning control has also taken the place of the older model's knob-style controls.
The Swift has several cutting-edge safety technologies, including adaptive cruise control (ACC), driver monitoring system (DMS), lane departure prevention (LDP), dual sensor brake support II (DSBS II), and lane keep assist (LKA). Included are additional features like Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR).
