The Jaecoo Omoda C9 has officially launched in Malaysia on 6 December at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS). The SUV is available in two variants: the 2WD, priced at RM168,800, and the AWD, priced at RM188,800.

The Omoda C9 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, delivering 257 HP and 400 NM of torque. It offers multiple driving modes, including Eco, Normal, Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand, and Off-road, providing versatility across different driving conditions.



With a sleek and futuristic design, the Omoda C9 measures 4,775 mm in length and 1,671 mm in height. It comes with 20-inch multi-blade alloy wheels and Michelin tires. Inside, it features a 24.6-inch HD display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a head-up display, paddle shifters, a 50W wireless charger, and ambient lighting for a premium experience.

Convenience features include keyless entry, a push-start button, triple-zone climate control, an air fragrance system, a panoramic glass roof, power-adjustable and power-reclining seats, a 360° camera system with transparency function, and a 14-speaker Sony sound system.

In terms of safety, the Omoda C9 comes with eight airbags and a suite of advanced driver-assist features like autonomous emergency braking (AEB), adaptive cruise control (ACC), lane centering assist, lane change assist, blind-spot warning, and a driver attention monitor.



The Omoda C9 offers a standard 7-year or 150,000 km warranty, but early bird buyers can enjoy an extended warranty of 10 years or 1,000,000 km for extra peace of mind. This makes the Omoda C9 an attractive option for those looking for a stylish, high-performance SUV with excellent value.
