Proton has officially opened bookings for the 2026 Saga MC3, its latest generation of the popular budget sedan. Interested buyers can now reserve their units ahead of the official launch, with indicative prices ranging from RM40,000 to RM50,000. The new Saga will be offered in three variants: Standard, Executive, and Premium. The exact launch date has yet to be announced.
The 2026 Saga MC3 is built on a re-engineered AMA platform, offering improved safety and structural integrity. It has earned a 4-star ASEAN NCAP rating and comes with up to six airbags for the Premium variant. The top-spec model also features Level 1 ADAS using a monocular camera, while the lower variants are equipped with two airbags and no ADAS.
On the exterior, the new Saga features a fresh front and rear design with LED lights, giving the sedan a modernized look. The interior has been updated with a new dashboard housing two digital displays in a single long panel, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, offering an enhanced infotainment experience.
Proton is also offering an early bird launch package for those who book now until the official launch. The package includes one year or 20,000 km of free service (parts and labour) and a special edition Saga Touch ’n Go card. The offer is valid for vehicles registered before the end of 2025 and is limited to 20,000 units.
