Gabions a.k.a. stone netting are incredibly strong and highly weather resistant. There are 2 types of gabion which are: Hexagonal Woven Gabion & Welded Mesh Gabion
The advantages of conventional gabion are easy to adapt uneven surface such like river banks and it is more economic. On the other hand, Welded Mesh Gabion will look more attractive and decorative while it still retaining the function of gabion. It is made by medium tensile strength of galvanized wire which is 40% higher than conventional gabion wire. It is faster to erect and do not need tensioning during installation. This allows them to keep in shape, to be free from bulges and depressions and fit easily against the wall.
Application Fields
Stabilization of earth movement and erosion, slopes, river control, landscaping, reservoirs, canal refurbishment and retaining walls.
