Hyoscine butylbromide
 
Indication
Reduces smooth muscle tone. Adjunct to treatment of peptic ulcer, GI spasm, spasm of urinary & biliary tract, dysmenorrhea.
 
Instruction
Administer 20 mg via IM/IV or SC inj repeated after 30 min, if necessary.
 
Drug interaction
Amantadine, tri- & TCAs, quinidine, antihistamines, antipsychotics, disopyramide, phenothiazines, belladonna alkaloids, other anticholinergics (eg, tiotropium, ipratropium, atropine-like compd), metoclopramide.
