Sheartron

The Sheartron dock-in module is a shear frame that when morphed and configured together with the Unitron enables user to perform a full direct shear testing. Application of normal load and shear rate is completely by the devices advance motor and electronics. No standard weights are required and the setup is very user friendly. The compact desktop setup allows great space saving and the whole system can be monitored and controlled remotely allowing high productivity in the lab producing shear test results. When the shear test not performed, the Unitron can be freed to perform other test such as triaxial compression or consolidation test. This kind of flexibility allows great return of investment especially if the user is concentrating on own projects and not the volume of testing.
