How the electrostatic flocking machine works?

Fibers are conveyed from the supplying hopper to the flocking gun with air stream propelling, they are electrostatically charged when passing an electrode in a elongated nozzle chamber. As charged fibers are sprayed out of the nozzle, they become aligned with the electric field lines of force and are attracted and embedded to the grounded substrate, giving a dense and pile covering finish.
