1. Tangential vs. Involute Inlet Design

  • Tangential Entry: The duct enters at a sharp angle to the cyclone wall. While common, it can cause turbulence at the entry point.

  • Involute Entry (EKG Standard): We engineer the inlet duct to "wrap" around the cyclone body. This minimizes the "expansion shock" as air enters the chamber, preserving the velocity needed for effective separation and reducing the workload on your fan.

2. Helical Roof Transitions
