ABB industrial drive, DCS800 - The next generation
The new DCS800 drive scores high in terms of numerous innovative features like an ultra-simple operator interface, intuitive commissioning assistant, plus self-adjustment capabilities for all internal loop controllers and is fully programmable by using pre-configured function blocks. The DCS800 control panel and the commissioning tool DriveWindow Light serve as the set-up assistants, diagnostic and programming tools.
Thanks to a wide choice of I/O expansion and serial communication modules, the drives can be easily configured as system requirements change. High-performance applications can be achieved by using the widely recognized standard tool CoDeSys which is compatible with all IEC61131 languages. With this software capability users may integrate their own application requirements into the DCS800 in a programming language they already understand. The DCS800 is a perfect solution for System Integrators that do everything from single drive installations and retrofits, to complex system drive replacements.
ABB industrial drive, DCS500 and DCS600 MultiDrive
DCS500 provides a variety of configuration and adaptation possibilities. Its function-block programming capabilities provide the flexibility to build an intelligent drive. With an add-on hardware board the DCS600 MultiDrive incorporates the ABB control platform into the drive.
High-power DC drives
The DCS500/600/800 drives are available in a single bridge configuration up to 5200 A and voltages as high as 1200 Vdc. For higher power applications, standardized 12-pulse parallel/serial and hard-parallel configurations are offered achieving over a 20000 A capability.
