On 4th June 2025, Drawbridge Technologies had the privilege of leading a sharing session at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) titled “Digital Transformation Through 3D Scanning Technology.” The session was designed to expose students and educators to the powerful role 3D scanning plays in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.
During the event, our team delivered live demonstrations of HandySCAN 3D scanner and shared real-world applications across key industries including manufacturing, engineering, and heritage preservation. Participants experienced the full workflow from data capture to mesh processing and CAD integration, highlighting how these technologies streamline design, reverse engineering, and inspection.
We also showcased local and global case studies that emphasized 3D scanning’s impact in reducing lead times, improving accuracy, and supporting innovation. The session concluded with guidance on how students can integrate 3D scanning into their academic projects, especially in areas aligned with UMPSA’s focus on Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.
We’re proud to support UMPSA in nurturing future-ready talent and were thrilled by the energy and curiosity of all who attended. As technology partners, Drawbridge Technologies remains committed to advancing education and building bridges between academia and industry through hands-on learning and meaningful collaboration.
