It is made up of layers of wood strands (flakes) in specific orientation, thus the structural performances are comparable to plywood. OSB is a highly competitive product as it is more cost efficient in comparison to conventional plywood. OSB comes with rough surface, ideally for both interior and exterior applications, including wall sheathing, floor, and furniture.
