Noise Risk Assessment (NRA)
Occupational Safety and Health (Noise Exposure) Regulation 2019.
The NRA Risk Assessor (NRA) conducts workplace noise exposure assessments as required under the Occupational Safety and Health (Noise) Regulations 2019. An employer must appoint, employ, or hire a competent person called the Noise Risk Assessor to carry out a Noise Risk Assessment (NRA) under the standards set by the Department.
Noise Risk Assessor (NRA) must :

Conduct a Noise Risk Assessment (NRA) at the place of work within the valid registration period as required by the Occupational Safety and Health (Noise Exposure) Regulations 2019.

Ensure valid calibration of the noise measuring equipment used for Noise Risk Assessment (NRA)

Notify the respective DOSH state director at least 14 days before conducting any noise risk assessment.

Complete and furnish a full report of the noise risk assessment to the employer within 30 days of its completion.

Present findings of the assessment and recommendations on noise control to the employer within 30 days of completion of the assessment

After completing the Noise Risk Assessment (NRA), submit a summary report to the Director General within 30 days.
