Audiovector Floor Protection Units [FPU]
For all the people, who are forced to position their fine new Audiovector speakers on a shiny and perfect hardwood floor, we have engineered the FPU’s.
The goal was to make sure that the transmission of vibration from the speaker could go on without any loss. And still avoid to damage the floor.
The FPU’s are made from aircraft grade aluminium. The buttom is covered with a VERY thin layer of felt to protect the floor. The very thin layer of felt does not isolate the FPU’s from the floor, it just protects from scratches and makes the speakers sound as good as if the speakers had direct contact with the floor.
