Cross Hatch Adhesion Tester

Determines a coating's ability to resist separation from a substrate when a lattice pattern is cut into the coating in accordance with ISO 2409 and ASTM D3359

  • Includes all tools and accessories required for cross hatch testing
  • Ergonomic tool handle with non-slip grip provides comfortable all-day use
  • Pivoting cutting head ensures proper positioning and equal pressure across the cutting surface
  • Easy to replace, high-grade hardened steel blade with 4 cutting edges for longer testing
  • Choice of adhesive tape conforms to ISO 2409 or ASTM D3359

  • Includes all tools and accessories required for cross hatch testing in accordance with ISO 2409 and ASTM D3359
  • Ergonomic tool handle with non-slip grip provides comfortable all-day use
  • Pivoting cutting head ensures proper positioning and equal pressure across the cutting surface
  • Easy to replace, high-grade hardened steel blade with 4 cutting edges for longer testing
  • Ideal for coatings up to 250 μm (10 mils) depending on blade and Standard
  • Wide range of 4-in-1 cutting blades available for different Standards, coating thicknesses, and substrates. Tool is compatible with all DeFelsko cutting blades.
  • Illuminated Magnifier available with 3x or 10x magnification depending on Standard
  • Brush included to remove any detached flakes from the coating
  • Choice of adhesive tape conforms to ISO 2409 or ASTM D3359
  • Durable hard shell case keeps contents secure
