Vantage Data Centers has officially completed its first six-acre data centre campus in Cyberjaya, wrapping up development with the commissioning of its final 16MW building. The entire four-building campus is now fully operational and completely leased to a single hyperscale customer.
This flagship campus delivers 31MW of critical IT load and is part of Vantage’s expanding footprint in Malaysia, which now includes three major campuses nationwide. Globally, the company manages 41 campuses with 8.7GW of IT capacity, including 1GW across the Asia Pacific region.
Jeremy Deutsch, president of Vantage Data Centers Asia Pacific, said Malaysia has rapidly emerged as Southeast Asia’s fastest-rising data centre hub, prompting the company to accelerate expansion. Vantage is currently developing a second Cyberjaya campus with more than 400MW of planned capacity, reinforcing Malaysia’s role in powering regional digitalisation.
The company has also acquired a massive hyperscale campus in Johor Bahru—spanning 73 acres (about 40 football fields)—housing three data centres with 300MW of critical IT load, strengthening Malaysia’s position as a key regional tech and industrial growth corridor.
