KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 1): The management of The Exchange TRX has confirmed that a brief water leakage incident reported at the mall last Friday evening was the result of a pipe-related issue, and that the situation was quickly brought under control.
In a statement on Monday, the mall clarified that the localised leak occurred at around 6.30pm along the Concourse Level corridor. The facility management team was dispatched immediately to address the problem.
“They completed the required repairs swiftly and secured and cleaned the affected area within 15 minutes,” the statement said, adding that visitor safety and comfort remain a top priority for the mall operator.
A short video of water dripping from the ceiling had earlier made its rounds on social media, showing security staff cordoning off the walkway as a precaution.
The Exchange TRX, one of Kuala Lumpur’s flagship retail and lifestyle destinations, reiterated that it maintains strict maintenance and operational standards to ensure uninterrupted service for shoppers and tenants.
