KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 26) – Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd (KL:KERJAYA) posted a 24% increase in net profit for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2025 (3QFY2025), supported by stronger revenue from accelerated construction activities.
Net profit rose to RM57.44 million from RM46.09 million a year earlier, while earnings per share improved to 4.57 sen from 3.65 sen. Quarterly revenue climbed 12.16% year-on-year to RM566.25 million from RM504.84 million.
Despite the earnings growth, the group declared a third interim dividend of three sen per share, lower than the seven sen (including a four sen special dividend) paid in the same period last year. The upcoming dividend, payable on Dec 26, brings the year-to-date dividend payout to nine sen per share, compared with 12 sen per share previously.
For the nine-month period, Kerjaya Prospek reported a 35.3% increase in net profit to RM157.95 million from RM116.73 million, as revenue expanded 27.5% to RM1.58 billion from RM1.24 billion. The company’s outstanding construction order book stood at RM3.6 billion as of Sept 30, 2025, underlining strong forward visibility in the construction and infrastructure segment.
Looking ahead, the group plans to carefully monitor market conditions while implementing strategies to manage operational and financial risks arising from ringgit volatility, rising material costs, and skilled manpower constraints.
Shares of Kerjaya Prospek closed one sen or 0.36% higher at RM2.76, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM3.5 billion. The stock has gained 21% year-to-date, hitting a record high of RM2.80 earlier this month.
