PETALING JAYA (Nov 12, 2025) — KLK Land has confirmed a strong line-up of anchor tenants for its upcoming Coalfields Retail Park in Bandar Seri Coalfields (BSC), Sungai Buloh, marking another key step toward its scheduled opening by end-2Q2026.
Positioned as a hybrid lifestyle mall, the new development forms an integral part of KLK Land’s long-term vision to transform BSC into a vibrant, sustainable township in the northern Klang Valley.
The mall will feature a curated mix of tenants across groceries, dining, lifestyle, wellness, retail, and entertainment — aligning with the rising demand from growing residential communities within the corridor connecting Rawang, Puncak Alam, Sungai Buloh, Ijok and Kuala Selangor.

“With the arrival of our key tenants, we are one step closer to realising Coalfields Retail Park as a meaningful retail and social destination,”
said KLK Land managing director Lee Wen Ling.
“This milestone is a humbling moment for the Bandar Seri Coalfields community as we work toward creating a beacon of life for the North Klang Valley.”
A Modern Retail Hub Designed for Growth
Spanning 1 million sq ft of gross built-up area with 135 retail lots and 925 parking bays, Coalfields Retail Park is set to become a major retail and lifestyle centre, supporting the rapid population growth within a 20- to 30-minute radius.
The mall is projected to draw over five million visitors annually, supporting local employment and driving economic activity within the wider region.
Coalfields Retail Park has also received a GreenRE Gold Certification (Provisional) under the Non-Residential Building category — a recognition of KLK Land’s focus on sustainable, environmentally responsible development.
“Coalfields Retail Park is envisioned as more than a shopping destination — it represents a dynamic lifestyle,” Lee added.
“It reinforces KLK Land’s commitment to building sustainable, liveable townships that deliver lasting value.”
Market Relevance and Regional Property Impact
The rise of major lifestyle hubs like Coalfields Retail Park highlights the growing investment appeal of northern Klang Valley, complementing strong commercial activity across the Klang Valley — especially in areas experiencing high investor demand such as:
-
industrial land in Selangor,
-
modern logistics hubs near industrial property in the Subang area,
-
expanding business corridors with demand for office space in Bukit Jalil,
-
and growing urban centres that support retail and commercial activity similar to commercial property in KL and factory developments in Puchong.
This integrated retail project is expected to enhance the liveability of Bandar Seri Coalfields while strengthening Sungai Buloh’s position as a growth-ready suburban hub.
