A question we often hear from customers is:
“How well can a vehicle sticker wrap hold up under Malaysia’s weather?”
To answer this, we revisited a van that we wrapped in March 2022. The customer recently returned in January 2025 for a new design, giving us the chance to inspect the wrap after almost three years of real road usage.

Malaysia’s tropical climate is well known for being tough on vehicles — strong UV exposure, high humidity, sudden thunderstorms, and long hours of heat can all affect exterior surfaces. Despite facing these conditions daily, the van’s wrap remained in solid, stable condition throughout the entire period.
From 2022 to 2025, here’s what we observed:
• The vinyl surface stayed well-adhered, with no major peeling at edges or corners.
• No cracking, brittleness, or lifting was found even on high-stress areas.
• Panels maintained their shape and alignment, showing that the installation was still holding firmly.
• The wrap continued to look neat and presentable for business use, even after long-term exposure to sun & rain.
This real example shows that a quality vehicle wrap installed in Malaysia can maintain good overall condition for 2–3 years or more, even under demanding weather. Proper material choice, installation method, and basic care all contribute to a wrap staying intact and functional over time.
For business owners, this demonstrates that van wraps, lorry wraps, and fleet branding remain a durable and cost-effective marketing investment, providing long-term exposure and a professional appearance on the road.
