Ever since acquiring Carlsberg Singapore Pte Ltd in 2009, our client knew it had to pay more attention to the upkeep of its facilities to ensure its sustainability-driven brewery business never ran out of steam. As such, the client approached us to revamp the water treatment plant section of its operations, which, due to more than a decade of minimal supervised maintenance, did not look in the right shape to keep going for decades more. The client wanted a flooring solution that was not only cost-saving, but posed little hassle when it came to maintenance.
In tackling the budget issue that the client had, we recommended our Polygard® RAC 8500 system, a 500 microns thick high build, light-to-medium duty epoxy coating system that requires little to no downtime while being economical thanks to its 3-coat formulation. With its structural integrity being this simplistic, maintenance would thus not a be major issue.
