PTPTN Loan Application Steps (1-9)
- Register for myPTPTN: Download the myPTPTN app or visit myPTPTN website to register, activate your account via email, and complete eKYC identity verification on your mobile device. Use a valid email address.
- Check Application Schedule: Review the application opening and closing dates for your institution in myPTPTN. Each institution has only two application periods per semester.
- Apply for PTPTN Loan: Pay a RM5.00 registration fee via FPX in the app, then complete your application (personal details, guardian info, SSPN savings, bank account, and study details). Note: The PIN is valid for one year from purchase and can only be used for one application.
- Upload Offer Letter: Upload a valid and correct university offer letter. Ensure your study details match the offer letter. If there are errors, reapply in the next batch. All documents must be combined into a single PDF (max 2MB).
- Check Loan Application Result: From the sixth working day after the application deadline, check your myPTPTN inbox for the loan approval result.
- Sign Loan Agreement: If approved, review and digitally sign the agreement within 14 days of receiving the result. Pay RM25.00 for digital signing and stamping via FPX in myPTPTN.
- Print or Save Completed Agreement: After both parties have signed and stamped the agreement, print or save it within 60 days for your records.
- First Loan Disbursement: For new students, the first disbursement will be made within 20 working days after the agreement is completed, according to the scheduled payment date.
- Approval Cancellation: If the agreement is not signed within 14 days, the loan approval will be automatically cancelled.
