Single Tooth Implant

Single Tooth Implant
In most cases, the procedure is quick (often taking less time than a crown or root treatment), nearly pain-free, and the recovery process is typically simple and uncomplicated. Many patients report less discomfort after the implant placement than they experienced following a tooth extraction.

You won’t have to live with a visible gap at any stage of the treatment. We will carefully discuss your options for filling the gap during your consultation.

The result is a replacement tooth that looks, feels, and functions just like your natural tooth. It can be maintained with regular brushing and flossing.

With proper care, there is no reason why a well-maintained implant shouldn’t last a lifetime. The titanium structure and design of the implants we use are specifically engineered to withstand the pressures of chewing.

Why implant is more preferable than a dental bridge or partial dentures?

In contrast, a traditional dental bridge is attached to the teeth on either side of the gap. This requires your dentist to shave down the adjacent teeth to make space for the bridge, which also increases the stress on these supporting teeth. When a bridge fails, it often results in the failure of one or both of the supporting teeth, leading to an expanding gap.

Similarly, dentures are rarely the ideal solution for replacing missing teeth. They can be uncomfortable, may damage adjacent teeth and gums, and often become loose over time as your gums continue to shrink beneath them. Additionally, dentures need to be removed each night.

It’s crucial to replace missing or failing teeth because, with fewer teeth for chewing, the stress on the remaining teeth increases, shortening their lifespan. Unopposed teeth may shift position, affecting your bite and chewing, which can lead to further damage down the road.
