Cautions
- The bulbs must be used together with compatible ballasts and capacitors up to national standards.
- All bulbs are fitted with propeller and electrified when they are used. When the bulbs need to be replaced and repaired, the power should be cut off for better safety.
- On condition that power voltages range from 220W to 380W (~6~8%), a bulb can function normally. Excessively high or low voltages may disable ignition and shorten its life span.
- A bulb must be fitted into corresponding light fixture. When the bulb is ignited, the light reflected by the light fixture should not concentrate on the discharge tube, so as to keep the bulb in good shape. Meanwhile, the temperatures of lamp base should be kept no higher than 210¡æ , while the bulb housing no higher than 430¡æ . Sealed and explosion-proof lamps should be adopted for important venues or other venues that require high safety, such as inflammable, explosive and highly crowded venues.
- When an ignited bulb is turned off, it must cool off for 15 minutes so that its temperature falls before it is reconnected to electricity. Hot start can easily impair or burn off the bulb.
- In case that a bulb goes off automatically when it is in use, the bulb user should double check whether the circuit contacts and the contact pieces inside the lamp holder are in good shape, for example, whether the power voltage fluctuate overly high or whether the ballast and capacitor are physically damaged. Provided that all equipment is in normal conditions, the bulb can be reignited, and the bulb must be replaced with a new one otherwise.
- Given that different lighting positions may result in different ignition effects, arbitary lighting position may affect the ignition negatively.
- In case that a bulb is ignited continually 24 hours a day and seven days a week, it must be turned off at least 15 minutes within a week.
- In case that a bulb breaks, even that it can still be ignited, it must be replaced immediately, so as to avoid ultraviolet burns on human body.
