The Winter Solstice marks the longest night and the shortest day of the year.
Since ancient times, it has been regarded as one of the most important festivals after the Lunar New Year. Families gather to share tangyuan (glutinous rice balls) as a symbol of reunion and completeness, while remembering their ancestors with gratitude and offering prayers for longevity, peace and prosperity.
To honors this meaningful occasion, Nirvana Singapore warmly invites you and your family to join our
Winter Solstice Blessing Ceremony on 21 December 2025 (Sunday), from 10:00am to 5:00pm, at the Main Hall, Block B.
We are privileged to have Venerable Hui Wen from Taiwan to lead the ceremony, guiding devotees to:
- Offer blessings for the living – for health, longevity and harmony
- Dedicate merits to ancestors and departed loved ones
- Purify the mind through solemn chants and sacred recitations.
