What It Is & What It Does
-
This is a 4 stage water filtration system designed for home use — to clean and purify tap water for drinking or household use.
-
The 4 filtration stages are:
-
Sediment pre filter — removes visible dirt, sand, rust or larger particles from source water.
-
Activated carbon (cementation carbon) — reduces chlorine, unpleasant taste or odour, and chemical impurities.
-
Hollow fiber ultrafiltration (UF) membrane (0.01 micron pore size) — filters out microbes, bacteria, cysts and small particulates, helping make water “microbe free.”
-
Alkaline activated carbon post filter — further improves taste / odour and produces water with slightly better pH (alkaline) for consumption.
-
-
As a result, the PURINZ system claims to deliver “clean, safe, and good tasting” water free from sediments, chlorine, heavy metals/impurities, microbes, and unpleasant odours.
What’s Good & When It’s Useful
-
Comprehensive filtration: Because of its 4 stage design (sediment → carbon → UF membrane → post filter), it handles a wide range of contaminants — from physical dirt to chemicals and microbes — which is especially useful if the water source quality is uncertain.
-
No complicated installation / lower maintenance: Compared with a full-blown Reverse Osmosis (RO) system, a UF based filter like PURINZ typically consumes less water, wastes less water, and often doesn’t need high water pressure or electricity — simpler and more eco friendly for everyday home use.
-
Improved taste and odour: The activated carbon and alkaline post filter help make tap water taste and smell better, which many people appreciate for drinking/cooking.
-
Good for daily drinking / cooking / general use: For households where the main need is safer, cleaner water for drinking, cooking, making beverages — but not necessarily heavy-duty filtration like removing total dissolved solids (TDS) — this is a reasonable, cost effective choice.
