JPJ: People who have not renewed their driver's license or road tax, as long as their car insurance is still valid, they can still drive on the road!
21-Aug-2023
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob just announced that from tomorrow (May 7) to May 10, the government will allow people to return to the city from their hometowns, or return to other places from Kuala Lumpur. It is also approved that people can stay in their hometowns for a few days, and return to their workplaces from their hometowns within the travel dates stipulated by the police.
If the public encounters problems such as renewing their driver's license and road tax during this period, the Malaysian Transport Department reiterated that as long as the car insurance is still in effect, the public can still drive on the road.
