Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II has been introduced in Malaysia, with a starting price of RM2.5 million before taxes

Rolls-Royce has launched the latest version of the Phantom in Malaysia, known as the Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II. This model replaces the initial 8th-generation Rolls-Royce Phantom introduced in the country in 2017. The limousine is offered in two versions: the standard-wheelbase (SWB) Phantom Series II and the extended-wheelbase (EWB) Phantom Extended Series II. Prices start at RM2,500,000 for the SWB and go up to RM2,900,000 for the EWB (excluding options and taxes).



In Malaysia, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II offers customization with a choice of 44,000 colors. One of the available colors is called Tempest Grey. The updated features in the Phantom Series II, compared to its previous model, include a new polished horizontal line positioned between the daytime running lights (DRLs) above the Pantheon grille.


 

Rolls-Royce has subtly altered the Pantheon grille, making the "RR" badge and Spirit of Ecstasy mascot more noticeable when viewed from the front. The headlights of the Phantom Series II also feature intricately cut bezel starlights, establishing a visual link with the Starlight Headliner inside.

Equipped with 22-inch fully polished forged alloy wheels, the standard-wheelbase (SWB) Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II has a wheelbase of 3,552 mm, while the longer Phantom Extended Series II has a wheelbase of 3,772 mm.


 

Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II in Malaysia is powered by a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 563 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. Teamed with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, the power is directed to the rear wheels. This configuration allows the standard Phantom Series II to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds, while the extended version achieves the same in 5.4 seconds.

In terms of interior features, the steering wheel of the Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II is slightly thicker, providing a more "connected and immediate point of contact for the owner-driver," according to the carmaker.



Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II in Malaysia features the new Rolls-Royce Connected system. With this system, owners can send an address to the car using Whispers, the private-members' application from Rolls-Royce. This allows for seamless navigation to various destinations such as events, restaurants, dealerships, or the Home of Rolls-Royce. The Rolls-Royce Connected system on Whispers also displays the car's location, security status, and current condition. Owners can easily contact their preferred dealership with the touch of a button for service requests or information about the car.
