Proton released their November 2023 sales numbers, stating that 12,296 units (domestic + export) were sold. P1's year-to-date (YTD) sales through November 2023 exceeded those for the full 2022 calendar year as well.
Compared to the total of 141.432 units sold the previous year, 141,900 units had been sold as of November 2023. The YTD sales figure for 2023 is 3,024 units sold in international markets and 138,876 units sold domestically.

In November, Proton's year-over-year gain was noteworthy, as it maintained its 19.7% market share in Malaysian car sales till then.
The P1 SUV line known as the Proton X Series (X50, X70, X90) has achieved an impressive milestone of 201,710 units on the road. The Proton X50, which sold 2,115 units in November, is the second most popular B-segment SUV in Malaysia.

A total of 95,100 Proton X70 units have been sold since its launch in 2018, including 739 units sold in November. Proton X90, the newest model in the X Series, is still the best-selling D-SUV sector with 4,285 sales since debut, including 371 sold in November.
Even with Proton's SUV line's popularity, the non-Geely-based cars continue to be the company's best-selling models. PIES (Persona, Iriz, Exora, Saga) is the collective name for the original Proton models, which are still in demand among Malaysian consumers, growing 34.3% year over year as of 2022.

With 6,349 sold in November, the Proton Saga continues to be the best-selling vehicle for the P1 model. With 1,902 sold, the Proton Persona became the third best-selling Proton behind the Saga and X50. That month, the Proton also witnessed remarkable sales figures.
