Based on sightings of the revised 2024 Mazda CX-5 on a transporter truck, it looks like the car is almost ready to hit the Malaysian market. Now, leaked information on the facelifted SUV was submitted to paultan.org by an anonymous source going by the handle Pirates R Us.

The prices listed in the leaked document are for Peninsular Malaysia, on-the-road without insurance, with metallic paint (premium paints, Soul Red Crystal and Machine Grey, add RM3,300). The base 2.0G 2WD Mid is priced at RM149,469.20, followed by the 2.0G 2WD High at RM166,469.20, the 2.5G 2WD High at RM179,960.40, the 2.2D 2WD High at RM185,322.80, and the 2.5T AWD High at RM193,760.40.







According to the leaked internal document, there will be five different models of the 2024 CX-5 available for purchase in Malaysia: the 2.0G 2WD Mid, 2.0G 2WD High, 2.5G 2WD High, 2.2D 2WD High, and the 2.5T AWD High. The range-topper will be the only variant with all-wheel drive this time around.

The 2.0G Mid receives the most significant changes for the 2024 facelift, according to the document. It receives a new front grille and bumper, redesigned 17-inch alloy wheels, auto-folding exterior mirrors, keyless entry with walk-away locking, and a new "CX-5" logo design.





The 2.5G High has larger 19-inch alloys, but the 2.0G High retains the same exterior kit. Thus far, it seems that the 2.5G High kit will also be available on the 2.5T High.

Inside, the 2024 facelift range starts with the infotainment system, where the 2.0G Mid now has wired Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay via an eight-inch infotainment display. Other upgrades include a wireless phone charger and LED interior lighting.



Paddle shifters are now included in the 2.0G High's equipment list, and the CX-5 model now has ADAS technology in addition to a 10-way power driver's seat with memory function. Moving on, the 2.5G High's instrumentation included a seven-inch color TFT display in addition to front seat ventilation; the lower models' instruments was an analog speedometer.

The 2.2D High, which is powered by diesel, has the same interior as the 2.5G High, which is driven by naturally aspirated petrol. The interior of the turbocharged gasoline 2.5T High model, which is the top of the 2024 CX-5 range, incorporates Offroad Traction Assist.




Furthermore, according to the source, reservations for the 2024 CX-5 are currently being accepted with a refundable deposit of RM1,000. The car supply is anticipated to arrive in March 2024, with delivery scheduled for April of that same year.
