Follicular tracking is a fertility-focused ultrasound that monitors how your ovarian follicles grow throughout the cycle. Follicles are the sacs that carry the eggs. By measuring their size over time, we can predict your ovulation day accurately and help you time intercourse for the best chance of pregnancy.

Scan Method

• Transvaginal Ultrasound (TVS): clearer and more accurate for follicle measurement.
• Transabdominal Ultrasound (TAS): non-invasive option if preferred.

Both methods are priced the same and tailored to your comfort.

What This Scan Is For

• Pinpoint your true ovulation day — not a guess from apps.
• Time intercourse correctly to maximize pregnancy chances.
• Check if follicles grow normally (typical growth ~1–2 mm/day, ovulation at ~18–22 mm).
• Measure endometrial thickness (lining readiness for implantation).
• Confirm ovulation after egg release.

How Often Do You Need It?

One scan is usually not enough for real ovulation timing. Proper tracking needs a short series of scans within a cycle:

• Day 2–5 (optional baseline): check ovaries/cysts and starting follicle count.
• Day 10–12: first follicle scan to identify dominant follicle.
• Repeat every 1–2 days: until follicle reaches ovulation size.

Most women need 2–4 scans per cycle.
