YM Pastry Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. was founded by Mr. Mark in 2014. The founder embarked on the journey of making pastries when he was 18. Since then he has had more than 20 years of experience in this industry. Only until the year 2014, he founded YM that focuses on glutinous rice balls and Mochi.

In the early establishment, YM Pastry produces assorted Tang Yuan (glutinous rice ball) and supply to the local restaurant.

After some time, we are inspired by the imported Mochi and realize the taste of a food product should be easily accepted by the locals.

Therefore in 2015, we decided to produce Mochi with “local taste”. At first, we only offer Durian flavor, before we added Black Sesame, Mango, and Peanut flavor into our collection. We have received a very welcoming response from the consumers.

Our principle is to maintain good quality and all the food production is carried out under hygienic produce in an A1 production line. All of our employees including employees in the purchasing unit, the food processing unit and packaging unit are well trained. The production line is being carefully monitored in order to produce extraordinary Mochi to the market including introducing our Mochi to foreign countries.
