SOS PLUM
Sos Plum yang juga dikenali sebagai Sos Itik yang diperbuat daripada buah plum manis dan mempunyai warna oren, ia hampir sama dengan sos masam manis tetapi lebih berbuah. Kenapa ia juga dikenali sebagai Sos Itik?? Jangan salah sangka, sebenarnya tiada itik dalam sos!! Ia dipanggil Sos Itik kerana versi pertamanya dihidangkan bersama Itik Panggang Peking di China, hidangan tersebut telah dihidangkan di sana selama lebih daripada ratusan tahun. Di Britain dan Amerika Syarikat, ia merujuk kepada ''Kuah Oren'' atau ''Sos Oren''.
Ia biasanya digunakan sebagai sos penamat untuk itik panggang, ayam, makanan laut dan lain-lain lagi. Anda juga boleh menggunakannya sebagai sos tumis, contohnya untuk membuat sos masam manis, dengan menambah sos plum ini, ia akan rasa lebih enak berbanding dengan biasa.
Hiris sedikit bawang merah, bunga kantan, cili padi dan digaul dengan sos plum, sedikit gula dan jus limau nipis dan diletakkan di atas mana-mana makanan yang digoreng, memang sangat sedap!!!
