MTC Defense has once again initiated its Aerospace efforts, this time in collaboration with Equatorial Space Systems from Singapore and in conjunction with HEMREL, MTC and UiTM's academic venture. The research lab contributed to the Low Altitude Demonstrator launch with space and technical assistance alongside logistical support.

The launch was the very first in-flight demonstration of the Equatorial Space Systems' HRF-1, a hybrid rocket motor which offers a more superior performance than traditional fuels, providing a more accessible and affordable future in rocket design. The 2.5m long LAD reached its target altitude of 1.2km.
