III. Application and Directions

Preparation:
- Shake the can thoroughly before use.
- If detectors are linked to sprinkler systems or central monitoring, set the system to test mode before applying CRC Smoke Test®.
Application:
- Position the can 60-120 cm beneath the smoke detector and spray for 2-3 seconds.
- If the alarm does not sound within 5 seconds, repeat the spray. Be aware that some detectors may have built-in delays to prevent false alarms.
- If the alarm still does not activate, check the detector for potential malfunctions or low batteries. Note: This product is not intended for use with carbon monoxide detectors.
