MIMIC Technology - Transfer human motion / skills

 

Nordbo One way of controlling a robot without any programming is to transfer human motion  or skills to a robot. 

 

Using sensors to record or directly transfer the human motion to an industrial and collaborative robots brings great flexibility to robot applications. 

 

By attaching the sensor package to different tools, it can record the movement of a skilled workers performing the task for the robot to copy such as polishing.

P2P - Point2Point trajectory planning

 

By teaching the robot trajectory by adding waypoints  with the robot teach pendant the software is able to automatically generate the robot program and allows the operator to configure application requirements on the recorded trajectories.

 

A basic but effective teach method that works especially well with straight and geometrical shapes.

AutoPath - Vision based Robot Path Planning

 

By taking an image of the object and advanced mathematic calculations, this technology is able to  automatically plan the path of the robot without the use of any offline planning software. 

 

When the application requires direct contact with the object, adding a force torque sensor enables control of the force on the object and assure high consistent output.
