Principal has issued an official announcement to inform us that with immediate effect the production lead-time has been temporarily extended from 60 days (2 months) to 90 days (3 months) for Panasonic Malaysia rotary compressor.
Due to the continuously increasing demand from global customers on multiple products, the factory suppliers are currently facing full capacity production. The factory also faces major delays in receiving electrical parts/components from suppliers due to suppliers facing difficulty in container and vessel booking as port congestion and delays in vessel arrival are frequently happening.
To facilitate future order during this temporary peak season, we would like to seek our customers' supports on the following:
- Issue confirmed PO in advance with 3 months order lead time. (plan the order earlier than usual.)
- Provide at least 3 months reliable forecast to allow our suppliers to have more time in material preparations.
