HPM is a machining strategy where high metal removal rates can be achieved by using conventional feeds and speeds in combination with very high ae and ap values.
The result is high productivity (material removal rates up to 400% higher compared to conventional machining) and the lowest possible production costs.
The HPM range consists of tools for soft, medium and hard steel, stainless steel, super alloys and titanium.
As well as standard HPM tools, Seco® also supplies special HPM tooling.
