Indication:
Parestat is indicated for the management of post-operative pain in adults undergoing surgical procedures such as dental, gynecologic (hysterectomy), orthopedic (knee and hip replacement), and coronary artery bypass graft surgeries.
Instructions:

1. Reconstitution: Reconstitute each vial with 2 mL of Sodium Chloride 0.9% or Glucose 5%. Gently swirl until the powder is completely dissolved and the solution is clear.
2. Administration: Administer the reconstituted solution intravenously (IV) or intramuscularly (IM) as needed. The initial dose is typically 40 mg, followed by 20 mg every 12 hours as required.
3. Dosage Adjustment: Adjust the dosage based on the patient's response and clinical condition.
4. Monitoring: Monitor the patient's vital signs and pain levels regularly.
5. Precautions: Use with caution in patients with severe renal or hepatic impairment. Avoid use in patients with known hypersensitivity to parecoxib or its components.
